Our college consulting program has two main categories: preparing for college, and succeeding in college.
To prepare you for college, we first figure out what you need to do in order to maximize your changes of getting admitted to the school(s) of your choice; we then help you do it. You may need help improving your high school performance or extracurricular activities. You may need help deciding which schools to apply to, and when. You may need help filling out that daunting application, especially with the long essay(s) and the short answers.
We work with students for as little or as much as the students (and parents) wish, but we have found that the more intensive our involvement, the better the results are in general. Schools we have helped students get accepted to include Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, U. of Chicago, Brown, Cornell, and UC Berkeley, as well as U. of Michigan, Boston College, Boston University, and Brandeis.
These days, college is no longer the end for most people. You need to do well throughout college so that you can move on to the kind of life you want after you get your Bachelor's degree. Yet a surprisingly large number of people are not equipped with skills to be successful in college. With sessions before your start school or during a semester, we can help you deal with everything college life can throw at you.
